I must have looked at and rejected a few dozen ideas for a birthday present tor Cici.  With no hints from her it is rather difficult to know just the right thing to get her.  Everything I look at seems like it just isn't good enough for her.  I have promised her a shopping trip to the outlet mall so she choose something for her birthday, but I don't want to be empty handed when she returns home.  A birthday card and lots of cherries just won't be enough.   I need some more small things to surprise her.

Maybe I can go looking for some long tee shirt pajamas.  I saw some that said "Almost Ready" and "I just need five more minutes" with an outline of a girl holding a hair dryer.  She still wears the pajama set that I had waiting for her on her bed when she arrived in America, and the soft night shoes that I also had waiting for her.  That wouldn't be much, but it would be something.

I may just have to walk around the mall this weekend and hope for an inspiration.
