I was able to have a long conversation with the girls using the web cam and msn this morning Houston time.  It was nighttime in China so the girls were wide awake.  Someone stole Cici's QQ number so she was bummed about that.  QQ is what she uses to talk to everyone in the world except me.  It had rained there all day as well, but the girls were full of energy and wanted to talk.

I told them about the two thunderstorms we had at our home yesterday evening.  Another thunderstorm has rolled in as I have been writing this post.  This is helping me with my assignment to keep Ping's plants watered during this hot weather.  They are very interested in keeping up with what is happening here.  Cici even checked her school supplies list on her school website at my suggestion.  She checked and was happy to see that the summer marching band practices end the day after she returns from China, and we won't have her go to that last practice.

I think I better post this before the thunder and lightening cause a power surge and I lose what I have written so far.
