What to read for the summer?  Cici has to choose two books from among a list of 6.  The choice may be determined by what is available in China, since she must read and post comments about one of the books before July 15, and do the same with the other book before August 15.  Huckleberry Finn is on the list, but she already read that book.  One of the books on the list is A Professor's View about How to Read Literature, or something along those lines. 

Our summer intern just recommended that Cici read that book.  She said it is entertaining to read and will also teach her a few things about what to look for when she reads literature.  That sounds interesting to me, so I will suggest it to Cici.  If she chooses it I will also read it and will undoubtedly learn something.

It seems like the summer is racing past, even though it has just begun.  I couldn't talk with Cici this morning because the access lines were down at Tel3 Advantage, so I don't know how things are going with her.  I wonder whether she feels like the summer is racing by, or if she is wishing it would go faster.  I sent her an email and an instant message but one of the questions I was going to ask her on the phone was when the internet will be working there, so I don't know if she received my messages.

Ping made a cameo appearance at the office today with one of her girlfriends in tow.  They had plans to meet with more of their girlfriends, so Ping brought some food for me and they headed off to have some fun.  She also brought news about a new client that she is bringing to the law firm tomorrow, so she earned her pass for the afternoon.
