Guangzhou Time
Half an hour late into Hong Kong, but Cici made it safely. Ping and I spoke when her a little past midnight Guangzhou time when she arrived at our home there. Ping's sister met her at the house and was preparing something for her to eat. She said that she hadn't slept or eaten since leaving Newark, so she was very tired and very hungry. I asked her why she hadn't slept on the plane and she said that the man sitting behind her kept hitting her seat with his let. She asked him to stop but he kept starting again.
She was so tired that we didn't talk very much. It was dark outside and in the house so she didn't have much of an impression about our place. She said hello to her Grandma, but it was so late that she told her to go back to sleep. I will try to get on the Internet tomorrow, Papa, she promised me. I hope she can, because that is how she intends to link up with her former classmates in Guangzhou.
So let's see how long it takes for her to get back on Guangzhou time.

If she arrived and it was dark time and she was tired, she might be able to get into the swing of things pretty quickly. The other factor is her youth might allow her to run harder and faster and creep into GUZ time.
Perhaps a better question is how many naps will it take to get in to the swing of things?

My guess is that she is so excited to be there that she will quickly adjust to the time change.
