Where do we go from here?
Angela ... the sign begins ... so talented. Always in class, always prepared, always on task. An excellent flautist, the creator of award winning web pages, so creative with colors and so good with webmastering skills. There is a lengthy write up about Cici that is posted at her school with her photo, introducing her as student of the month. These are just a few of the things I remember from the sign. I took her to school this afternoon to participate in a band class that is being taught by some visiting music guru, so it was a good opportunity for me to park and go inside to look at her student of the month accolades.
Sure I think highly of Angela already, but it gives me a lot of pride to read what her teachers say about her; to see that others also see something special in her.
Cici's feeling after her audition yesterday was that she doesn't expect to be invited back for a second audition. She said that the man who heard her audition was very nice. He has visited Shenzhen, China, which is not far from Guangzhou where Ping and Cici lived. But he gave me no idea about how he felt about my audition, Cici told us. Well, you gave it your best shot, I told her. They may not have a spot for another flautist, especially with you trying to start as a junior. Either way it was good experience, and either way, you will be attending a good school. So we agreed to go to lunch and not worry about it.

Well, that is all that we can ask of anyone. If you do your best, then you don't have to worry if you could have done better.
You had me a little confused there with flautist.

I prefer flutist myself, but perhaps those in academia prefer the British version, so they had flautist on the sign. There is actually a bit of a "raging" controversy over what is proper, so some just go with flute player. I even saw something called flutomater and fluter.
