Feng Shui Rules

I have been receiving a lesson in feng shui as Ping has looked at what I thought would become our new office space.  Maybe it is still in the running, but if so, it will look a lot different than it looks now.  I have learned that if walls come together at sharp angles, they are like arrowheads, for example, and they are dangerous and not good for business.

Ping studied the space intensely yesterday, and then began working with a floor plan.  If we use that space, the entrance will no longer be in its current location.  Her new design would have the entrance going through what is now part of a long wall, because the rooms at the existing entrance are full of sharp angles.  The "bad" part of the space would be eliminated completely, and additional "good" space would be added at the other end.

I don't know whether building management will go along with her radically different new plan or not, but so far they have agreed with all of her ideas, as well as agreeing to pay for the build out and for moving our office.

We start Friday night football in two days.  Cici's marching band has doubled in size from last year.  With our early start each day, and homework each evening, the days go past in a blur.  Speaking of which, I need to awaken Cici this morning and get everyone ready to leave for school on time.
